According to Sounders notes released today, goalkeeper Michael Gspurning is ineligible for Goalkeeper Michael Gspurning for the first leg against Santos Laguna due to yellow card accumulation.

Gspurning was issued his second yellow card of the tournament in the 86th minute of the second leg versus Tigres.

This likely means Marcus Hahnemann willl be in goal when the CCL semifinal series opens April 2 at CenturyLink Field.

I still can’t figure out what he got the yellow for. Time wasting?
