Reign adds six in Supplemental Draft

ReignFCHere’s part of a new release in today after the club’s participation in the NWSL Supplemental Draft:

Six more players were chosen by Seattle Reign FC in today’s six‐round National Women’s Soccer League Supplemental Draft.

Picking second in each round, Reign FC first selected defender Nikki Krzysik, followed by defender Lauren Barnes, forward Laura Heyboar, forward Liz Bogus, goalkeeper Michelle Betos, 24; and defender Kaley Fountain, 24.

Krzysik, Barnes, Heyboer, Bogus and Fountain have all played for the U.S. U-23 National Team.

“The supplemental draft went well for us. We have managed to get players who have league experience and playin positions we wanted to make sure we got covered,” said Laura Harvey, Reign FC head coach. “Drafts are always going tobe difficult to predict, but we had a plan and we are happy with how it all happened in the end.”
