It was an interesting day at Sounders training today as the club went through 11-on-11 full-field work for the first time. Coach Sigi Schmid said he divided the teams into veterans and newcomers to help let the newcomers understand what a jump it might be from their previous levels to MLS.

His veteran first 11 was Gspurning, Scott, Ianni, Hurtado, Gonzalez, Rosales, Rose, Alonso, Zakuani, Estrada, Sodade

Also today:

* Adrian Hanauer said the club is a little ahead of season-ticket sales from las season. He said the seating configuration remains the same as last season, but that the full stadium will be used four times (games not yet announced) and that he hopes for an overall attendance increase again.

* Hanauer says it hasn’t yet determined what it will do this season regarding a possible major international friendly.

* Sounders midfielder Osvaldo Alonso said he is still awaiting word from FIFA regarding his possible eligibility for joining the US national team.
