The Sounders returning to training later this morning.

Meanwhile, a few interesting links from around the league:

Settle has three players away for duty with their national teams, but next-opponent Real Salt Lake has four. That could make for unusual lineups and an emphasis of depth when the clubs meet in a very important Western Conference match Wednesday at CenturyLink Field.

Out of LA, the Galaxy seems comfortable that Landon Donovan’s knee injury is “not serious,” however there also seems to be no particular confidence that he’ll be available in time for the regular-season finale against the Sounders. However, indications are that defender Todd Dunivant will be back from a hip pointer by then, probably with a week to spare.

Finally, here’s a little catch-up report on how the Timbers are dealing with the aftermath of their “terrible trip” to Seattle.
