With a 10-day lull between the Portland game last Sunday and the RSL game a week from today, the Sounders are taking advantage of their final scheduling break in the regular season.

They were off Monday and Tuesday before returning to work today. Coach Sigi Schmid gave this run down on what they’re trying to accomplish.

“We just want to train a little bit, work on some things that we wanted to work on,” he said. “Today, all day all we played was two-touch because we wanted to work on our movement off the ball, moving the ball quicker, not giving teams an opportunity to close us down. Every day there will be a different theme of something that we’re working on, trying to accomplish, and make sure that we keep our game sharp in certain areas.”

They’re back at it Thursday.

    beIN SPORT ?

    That’s SO awesome!

You would laugh at the auto-correct suggestions I had to nix just to make that comment

Uh oh. Upon further review, there are apparently multiple BeIn feeds, and the one that Comcast offers in not showing the USA game this week.
