Sounders U-23 defender DeAndre Yedlin has been named to the USL Premier Development League All-Western team. Here’s part of the release from the league:

The PDL is proud to announce its 2012 All-Conference Teams, honoring the players who stood out during the 2012 regular season. The teams were selected through a vote of team management.

Both the Carolina Dynamo and Forest City London, who will meet Saturday night at Macpherson Stadium in Greesnboro, N.C. for the 2012 PDL Championship, are represented on the teams. Carolina defender Sebastian Ibeagha was named to the All-Eastern Conference Team, while FC London forward Jordan Ayris represents the Central Conference Team.

Leading the way with three selections each are Reading United AC of the Eastern Conference, the Michigan Bucks of the Central Conference, and the Austin Aztex of the Southern Conference.
