Sounders goalkeeper Michael Gspurning warms up before first start since May 2.

On Wednesday, Eddie Johnson and Osvaldo Alonso were in Pennsylvania helping the MLS All-Stars defeat Chelsea FC.

On Thursday, they flew cross-country back to Seattle.

On Friday they few one time zone over to Colorado.

And tonight they provided Seattle’s two goals in a 2-1 win over the Colorado Rapids.

The win moves Seattle to 9-5-7 on the season.

Colorado falls to 7-14-1 with its club-record-tying sixth straight loss.

The Sounders next match will be Thursday, when they open CONCACAF Champions League group play against Caledonia AIA of Trinidad. Their next MLS match is next Sunday against the Los Angeles Galaxy. Both of those matches are at CenturyLink Field.
