After Sounders’ training today at Stafire Sports Complex in Tukwila, coach Sigi Schmid gave a bit of an injury update.

He said Steve Zakuani remains week by week.

He said goalkeeper Andrew Weber (adductor strain) is undergoing an MRI this afternoon.

And he said No. 1 keeper Michael Gspurning worked today an impressed goalkeeper goak Tom Dutra.

“Tommy was very pleased with the work that he did,” Schmid said. “We’ll see. He’ll work again tomorrow, probably take Wednesday off, come back and work Thursday-Friday and then we’ll see. Probably by the end of this week we’ll probably have a much better feel overall for it, and we hope he can return as soon as possible.”
