Timbers DP: top career scorer from Scottish League

This just in from down south:

The Portland Timbers today announced the signing of Scottish forward Kris Boyd as a Designated Player. Boyd is the Scottish Premier League’s all-time leading scorer with 164 goals. Per league and club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. Timbers general manager Gavin Wilkinson made the announcement.
