Sounders take 6-3 UAB forward with second pick

The Sounders have used their second and final pick in today’s SuperDraft to select Babayele Sodade, a 6-foot-3, 195-pound forward from Alabama-Birmingham.

    1) Love his name. 2) He might have come in the 2nd round but to me he might be the more interesting pick. Twellman described him as a “freak” physically. Said he jumped well over the sticks at the vertical leap test during the combine. Apparently has some development to do in tactics, understanding of the game, but that’s something that can be taught.

    His cousin plays for Rangers in Glasgow.
