Speaking of schedules, where is the MLS schedule? I distinctly remember Garber saying it was going to come out much earlier this year, like Mid-December. And we don’t even have a named opponent for opening day.

Really, all I want for Xmas is a blu-ray DVD player and the MLS season schedule. Is that too much to ask?

Last I had heard, MLS schedule would be released last week of December or first week of January. Earlier than in the past, but still perplexingly late … especially for a league where vast majority of clubs control their stadiums. And more anticipation this year, too, since the unbalanced schedule means some teams won’t visit, some cities won’t be visited, etc.

Thanks for update Don. It IS perplexing how much trouble they have with schedule. As someone who traveled over 100,000 miles last year, the sooner I know the schedule, the sooner I can determine tweaks to my various itineraries to catch a few games here and there.

Hopefully, It’ll be released by New Year’s weekend but I won’t hold my breath.

    Happy Holidays.
