Houston advances to the MLS Cup with a 2-0 win over Kansas City. Certainly disappointment for SKC, however a bottom-line terrific season there where the old faltering Wizards were transformed into a relevant MLS franchise.
The second half of the MLS Cup pairing will be settled starting at 6 p.m., when Real Salt Lake visits Los Angeles. That one will be shown on ESPN.
Seems clear that without Brad Davis, whoever wins tonight will take home MLS Cup.

I’m not so sure that is so clear- Houston lost Brad Davis in the 37th minute, and THEN went on to score two goals to win.

JKJ – You’re right, but doing that against LAG is quite a different thing.

I’m with Derek… Houston vs. LA @ LA without Davis. Nope. Keep in mind that LA won a TON of their games without one of their 3 DPs. Keane was signed late, Landypants was on US duty and hurt, and ditto for Becks. For the playoffs, you have all 3 and you can see the quality…Keane’s strikes, Beckham’s great cross to McGee…Landon all over the place drawing defenders…they are very, very good. That said, I hope we draw them today in CCL quarters. We’re very, very good too.
