I’ve already had a few Sigi Schmid quotes scattered around the blog today — and there are more to come. But here are a couple of extras for now:

On how he measures a successful season) “We’ve had success this season. Certainly when you look at the parameters and compare it to the same stages as last year we’ve had success. For us, success right now, we want to do more in the playoffs than the last two years and so doing well is going to go a long way towards defining the success of our season.”

If it’s easier playing at RSL having won there already this season)
“No. Obviously they’re a proud team. As a proud team they’re not happy about that moment. When it’s a happy moment for us it’s probably not a good moment for them, and they probably want to make amends for that. If they didn’t have enough motivation that will probably make them a little more motivated. It’s going to be a difficult task. It’s a difficult assignment. It was a difficult win when we went there last time and for us to go there and pull off a result or get a win this time is going to be work, but we’re not afraid of work.”
