O’Brian White, Jhon Kennedy Hurtado and Brad Evans all came through the Sounders reserves 2-1 loss in Vancouver in good health Tuesday, and reserve goalkeeper Terry Boss is back at training.
Here are the updates from coach Sigi Schmid after training today:
“It was OK. It was just to get them minutes on the field. O’Brian White I thought did all right. He was unlucky on the one opportunity that he had a handball called against him. I thought Brad Evans and (Amadou) Sanyang were a good combination the first half in midfield – I thought they pretty much controlled the game, so I was happy with that. I thought it took JK about 15 minutes to get into the game, and then the last half hour I thought he was very good. … Obviously (Boss) has been cleared by the medical staff to resume training. He did a little bit of work yesterday, so this was the second day that he trained and we’ll see how he is tomorrow. We’ll take it day by day, but it looks good at this stage.”
