Schmid on short list to replace Bradley?

There’s no coaching vacancy on the U.S. national team right now, of course.

But there is speculation that Bob Bradley’s days as coach could be numbered. And naturally right behind that is speculation about who might replace him.

Sounders coach Sigi Schmid’s name would pop up on just about any short list, and it did this week in this post from the New York Times Soccer Blog.

  3. I’m not sure he’s a tactical improvement, but one knock on Bradley is youth development and Sigi has that box checked. I’d still prefer we hand the reigns over to Klinsmann.
