Seattle Sounders Women 3 – 0 Western Washington University

Starfire Stadium, Tukwila WA - The Sounders Women kicked off their 2011 campaign with a friendly against the Western Washington Vikings at Starfire. When the regular season kicks off, the Sounders roster will be a combination of college graduates and current university stars. On Thursday night, the graduates were on display as they shape up the portion of the team that will provide experience for the W-League season. The experience paid off as the Sounders scored three goals in the first half on route to a 3-0 victory.

Next on the schedule, the Sounders will play against local foes, Seattle Pacific University. The SPU vs Sounders match will be on Thursday, April 28 at Interbay Stadium in Seattle.

Season tickets are still available for this year. Ticket packages include the rest of the exhibition season, the regular season, final four playoff tickets, and a Sounders Women scarf. Packages start at $45 for kids. More information on tickets, schedules, and news is available at SoundersWomen.com
