We have just received word that Fox Soccer Channel has canceled its live coverage of tonight’s Marathon-at-Sounders match. FSC will show the game on tape-delay at 1 a.m. Thursday.

The game will 97.3 FM and will be streamed on the CONCACAF Champions League website. We’ll be blogging before, during and after the match. And, of course, plenty of tickets remain available.

The game kicks off at 7 p.m. at Qwest Field.

  1. Lame. What, are they gonna run another episode of Australian Football Superstar?

  2. Don Ruiz says:

    Columbus-Municipal, 7 p.m.

    Well that just plain stinks.

  4. Lame. I know we’re out but would have watched the reserves anyway.

  5. jimkingjr says:

FOX cancelled the broadcast because Newt said he could go over to Sarah’s and watch the Russian broadcast from there…

  6. jimkingjr says:

By the way- Municipal 2, Columbus 1- FSC dumped a winner for a loser.

Way to go, FOX! The Jesse James of sports broadcasting…

  7. JKJ quote of the night “FSC dumped a winner for a loser.

Way to go, FOX! The Jesse James of sports broadcasting..”

  8. By the way… everyone but JP will be pleased to know Rangers triumphed 1-0. It’s too bad Scotland doesn’t have two proper footie clubs to restore European glory. Guess the boys in blue will have to carry the flag. :)
