Defender Jeff Parke wasn’t at Sounders training today, as he weighs an offer that Sounders general manager Adrian Hanauer said is on the table. Hanauer said the club would be happy to have him on the pitch if he decides he wants to sign on.

I just found confirmation that Parke is in fact in Mongolian on trial with Khasiin Khulguud FC of the Mongolian Premier League.

Khasiin Khulguud is best known for their 2006 championship run and the fact that they prefer playing on horseback. A starting spot is open after their star central defender was struck by an arrow during a recent Cossack raid.
