Here’s an encouraging report on the new Red Bulls Arena, from Grant Wahl of SI.Com.

The Sounders will play there on May 15.

Meanwhile, here’s some generally encouraging news on the Houston Dynamo’s efforts to get its own soccer-specific stadium. I think the Dynamo is really just an appropriate stadium away from becoming one of the model franchises of the league, so good luck to them.

“model franchises”?? You mean besides the fact that their keeper punches our players in the head right??

I think I’m going to go check it out in May. Good excuse for a little vacation trip to NYC. I love Qwest, but this place sounds amazing for a SSS.

    Is that tarp gone yet?
