This just in from the Sounders:

Seattle Sounders FC announced today the home opener on March 25 against first-year side Philadelphia Union is sold out. The May 8 game against the MLS Cup runner-up Los Angeles Galaxy is also sold out.

Fewer than 1,000 tickets remain for all remaining home MLS matches. There are limited season tickets still available.

I’m planning on finding a single, middle aged woman that knows nothing about soccer to buy my Galaxy tickets for $150+ so she can go see that douchebag Beckham in person because she saw him on some tabloid magazines… :P
Or to a fellow Sounders fan for face value so he/she can boo Beckham in person. :)

Blahblah – Beckham will not be here as he will not be returning to MLS until after WC. Donovan might not be back by then either…

We’re starting to get used to this now, but shouldn’t lose sight of the fact that this is pretty amazing. Having at least 34k tickets sold for each game almost a month before the season starts is nothing short of shocking.

Feels like a lot more than a fad now.
