Ground was broken this morning on the Kansas City Wizards’ new soccer-specific stadium … in Kansas.

This can only be good news for the league. And it will be fascinating to see what kind of an MLS market Kansas City turns into once the stadium is up and running. Great fans in the area for the Chiefs and really considerably patient fans for the Royals. Whereas, Wizards fans haven’t really been given a fair shot after years in massive Arrowhead, and more recently a minor league baseball park.
