Central defender Tyrone Marshall has been called in to the Jamaica National Team for its January 31 home friendly with Canada. Marshall has 68 caps and last played for the Reggae Boyz during the 2009 Gold Cup.

Marshall was voted the Sounders FC Defender of the Year by his teammates. Despite missing most of July for national team duty, he made 26 appearances, starting 25, and finished with two goals and two assists.

Marshall is expected to leave Seattle on Jan. 27 and return on Feb. 1.
