I’m excited for him and hope he does well. If he has a good showing in the EPL it will reflect positively on MLS and our national team.

If Donovan shows well I could see a Fulham-level team picking him up. Sounds like Everton doesnt have much money to spend right now, so at this point it seems unlikely they could afford a long-term Donovan contract.
