mlschivas Preki, the former Tacoma Stars great, is now also the former coach of Chivas USA.

Preki and the MLS club announced what they’re calling a mutual decision today.

Some D.C. United fans have been really salivating over getting a chance to get Preki- I hope he ends up with a nice team like Kansas City.

I think KC gave Vermes the full time coaching position. Or perhaps Vermes gave that position to himself. Not sure how that worked.

Anyway, given Preki’s years in KC that would have seemed to make a lot of sense. Rumors now have him joining the US national team staff as an assistant.

I wouldn’t mind seeing him on USMNT staff ready to take over for Bradley (or secretly running things right away.)
