New Seahawks Insider look, new comments section to debut Thursday

Remember the changes to the blog I mentioned last week?

Here they are:

Starting Thursday all of The News Tribune sports blogs will have a new look.

The blogs are being moved into the main site from our current blog platform. We are aiming to go live with the new site around 11:30 a.m.

To readers, the postings and stories will look largely the same — and look better on mobile. (See, we do listen!)

Game day in Seattle: Seahawks have been prepping for this–defending a title on grand stage–for 4 1/2 years

Happy Opening Day!

The first game day of the NFL’s 2014 season has dawned sunny in Seattle. Supposed to be about 75 degrees and perfectly clear at the 5:30 kickoff today as the Seahawks begin defense of their Super Bowl championship against the Green Bay Packers at CenturyLink Field.
