All Seahawks fully participated in practice today at Arizona State University. That’s two days in a row for that.
All-Pros Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas are full go two weeks after pulling themselves through the NFC title game with a sprained elbow and separated shoulder.
Here is the pool report from Peter King of NBC Sports:
Now, for more Super Bowl media day wackiness…
Seahawks running back Christine Michael is on the right, waiting to ask a question to teammate Richard Sherman on behalf of a Spanish television network. Apparently, Michael was something of an interpreter.
And he asked Sherman to dance.
Not just any ol’ dance. A salsa jig partnering from his podium platform on the ridiculously crammed floor of U.S. Airways Center. With a striking young female reporter from the network.
Pretty smooth, eh?
Sherman stole the show, rising above the above the absurdity of this media …
The “Legion of Boom’s” defector wants his former legionnaires targeted.
The Seahawks’ response? Of course he does.
New England cornerback Brandon Browner won Super Bowl 48 with the Seahawks last year. Here at Super Bowl 49, Browner is wanting to win another — while teammates on offense further injure Richard Sherman, who is recovering a sprained elbow, and Earl Thomas, who is healing a dislocated shoulder.
“At the end of the day, this is about the Super Bowl,” Browner told ESPN. “I’m gonna tell my teammates to go hit that elbow, go hit that shoulder. … …
Richard Sherman: Patriots won’t be punished “as long as Roger Goodell, Robert Kraft are taking pictures at their respective houses”
Hello from the Super Bowl run-up at sunny, 75-degree Phoenix. The Seahawks arrived just after 2 p.m. at a corporate-jet terminal of Sky Harbor Airport then got a police escort for the 10-minute ride to their Arizona Grand Hotel near South Mountain. On the corner of Baseline Road and the sweeping resort’s entrance lane, maybe 100 or so Seahawks fans in the video above greeted the NFC champions with cheers of “SEA! HAWKS!”
The news of the 35 minutes or so that Michael Bennett, Russell Wilson, Russell Okung, Earl Thomas, Jermaine Kearse and …
Seahawks to speak upon Sunday arrival at Super Bowl: Bennett, Kearse, Okung, Sherman, Thomas, Wilson
Lakewood’s Jermaine Kearse has again made the big time. One week after his catch in overtime won the NFC title for Seattle, Kearse is one of six Seahawks who will be the first players to speak to the media upon the NFC champions’ arrival tomorrow afternoon in Phoenix for Super Bowl XLIX.
Seems like Bennett is about to become a breakout media star of Super Bowl week. The rest of the nation is about to find out what we already know: He’ll say anything at any time, a lot of it highly entertaining.
I leave SeaTac tomorrow morning …
Seattle PD donates its bike Michael Bennett rode in celebration around CenturyLink Field to DE’s charity
The hat Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett is wearing is a tribute from back home in Houston.
Last week, Bennett learned the father of a best friend who was a mentor of Bennett passed away after a battle with cancer. Bennett learned of the death of Mark Alexander a couple days before the NFC championship game, and he was emotional soon after the Seahawks’ win last weekend while discussing the death.
His mentor’s wife sent Bennett the hat, and the Seahawk said he’s going to where it all week.
Bennett said the Seattle …
Here’s a transcript of Richard Sherman being his most uninhibited all season today, taking on Tom Brady, the NFL for going after Marshawn Lynch for gold shoes while not expecting the league to punish the Patriots for deflated balls, and all sorts of glib comments.
As I said earlier, don’t expect such an unplugged performance next week in front of the international media mass that will swarm him hoping for more of this.
“I’m going to go cliche,” he joked.
