Hawks regular season schedule announced

The league just released the NFL regular season schedule, which you can view here.
For the first time in three years the Seattle Seahawks were scheduled for a nationally televised, regular season game.
The Seahawks have a Thursday night contest on the NFL Network at home against Philadelphia on Dec. 1, and then the following week host St. Louis in a Monday night contest on Dec. 12 on ESPN.
The Seahawks had no scheduled nationally televised games in 2009 and 2010, and just two in 2008, Mike Holmgren’s last as head coach in Seattle – a Thanksgiving Day game in Dallas and a Sunday night tilt in Tampa.
The Seahawks regular season finale last season against St. Louis last year was flexed into the schedule for a national audience on NBC with the NFC West title on the line.
Seattle opens the season Sunday, Sept. 11 on the road against San Francisco, followed by games at Pittsburgh, at home against Arizona and Atlanta, and then on the road at the N.Y. Giants before getting a bye at week six, Sunday Oct. 16.
