Houshmandzadeh on KJR: ‘I don’t regret anything because that’s who I am’

Former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh appeared on KJR this morning with Dave “Softy” Mahler. He talked about signing with Baltimore, the reasons for Seattle cutting him loose and his thoughts on all of the roster turnover this past weekend.

Houshmandzadeh was asked if the Seahawks’ brass explained why they released him, and this is what he had to say:

KIRO going to all-sports radio

Audio: Sports Saturday on KJR

Thanks to KJR-AM producer Josh Sabrowsky for passing along an MP3 file from my conversation with John Clayton on his Sports Saturday show this morning. Listen here. Josh went the extra mile in getting this to me, driving back to the studio to re-send after my email server initially failed to pass it through. Big thanks! I reduced the file size a little, but the quality should still be good.

Taking to the airwaves

I’ll be visiting with John Clayton on Seattle’s KJR-AM radio at about 10 Pacific time this morning. To listen live, click here. We’re taking the kids to see Santa at the mall this morning, but I’ll put the audio up when we return home. Ho, ho, ho.

Audio: Locklear impact and more

ESPN 700 The TicketWe have some bonus audio today thanks to my friends at the ESPN radio affiliate in Spokane. Dennis Patchin and Julie Scott have me on there when they can’t find anyone better, and they were nice enough to pass along the audio. This one runs about eight minutes. We talked about the impact of losing Sean Locklear to suspension, and what to expect with Jordan Babineaux in the lineup.
