Audio of Marshawn Lynch’s rare, Seahawks postgame comments following his big day vs. Oakland

I’ve had some questions as to what Marshawn Lynch’s demeanor was during his postgame comments yesterday, following his 67 yards rushing with two touchdowns plus team-high 76 yards receiving in the Seahawks’ 30-24 victory over Oakland.

So by popular demand, you can listen to Lynch here:

And this was the locker-room scene as he talked. He drew a bit of a crowd:

Seahawks LB coach: Starting MLB job vs Oakland Sunday is undrafted rookie Brock Coyle’s to lose

Linebackers coach Ken Norton says the team expects undrafted rookie Brock Coyle to be the starting middle linebacker on Sunday against the Oakland Raiders at CenturyLink Field.

The reasons: middle linebacker Bobby Wagner remains out with a turf-toe injury that’s caused him to miss the last two games; Wagner is in a walking boot and doesn’t appear to be

coming back anytime soon; the Seahawks were wowed by how well Coyle ran the first-team defense through most of training camp and the first two exhibition games in August while Wagner was out with a hamstring injury; and it’s looking

Russell Wilson: “Percy Harvin and I never had differences…Ignore the noise…There is no division in our locker room”

On his way out to practice this afternoon, quarterback Russell Wilson was more expansive than I expected him to be in addressing a national online report yesterday that there is division in the locker room, there is a rift in the Seahawks’ locker room between a pro-Wilson and anti-Wilson camp and that the now-traded Percy Harvin was “an accelerant” to that divide.

“There’s no division in our locker room. There’s none at all,” Wilson said behind a podium at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center here in Renton three days before Seattle (3-3) plays at Carolina (3-3-1). “If anything, I think

Doug Baldwin asserts himself; Richard Sherman on Seahawks: “The team is fine”

Doug Baldwin is becoming more than just the new, undisputed, No. 1 wide receiver with Percy Harvin shoved out to New York.

It’s been noticeable to me in the last couple weeks how assertive Baldwin has been publicly from inside a locker room national reports have been portraying as divided.

It was striking on Sunday in the minutes after the Seahawks lost 28-26 at the Rams.

As players filed in and out of the visitors’ locker room on the ground floor of the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Baldwin folded himself into a white, plastic chair in front of

Seahawks on break; Marshawn Lynch’s 10 great minutes on the radio; snap counts from win over Denver

This morning the Seahawks are as far away from the NFL as they can possibly be during the regular season. They have started a seven-day break during their lone bye in the schedule, due back at their headquarters in Renton on Monday to begin preparing for the Oct. 6 game at Washington.

The Seahawks took the same full-week break during their bye last season before a Monday-night home game against New Orleans, though that was far later in the season, in late November.

In today’s News Tribune I wrote why the break

Carroll on Harvin: ‘We’ll really get to the bottom of it by the middle of this week’

Pete Carroll was on 710 ESPN this morning. He, again, said Percy Harvin may go to injured reserve, sometime this week.

“We’ll really get to the bottom of it by the middle of this week,” Carroll said. “We’ll have an extraordinary football player ready to go next year.”

And, on Kam Chancellor, “He made the statement that you better look out or he will knock you out.”
