By this time tomorrow night we’ll know the regular season schedule and here’s how I hope it plays out:

Week 1) Open at home against a weak opponent – I’m thinking Oakland, maybe NYG.

Week 2) Go to SF for the 49er’s home opener and beat the 9er’s first game in the new stadium.

At least two of the east coast away games would be on Sunday night, thus negating the dreaded 10:00 am start.

Play at Philadelphia & Washington early in the season and avoid bad weather.

Play Denver on the Monday night before the bye and SF at home after the bye.

    Go ‘Hawks

  2. Week 1 of the regular season is the NFL opener, in prime time, the only game on a (I think) Thursday night. It will not be against a weak opponent.

Probably Green Bay, San Francisco, possibly Denver, possibly the Giants. Big media angles, big markets, big hoopla, etc. None of which will phase Russell Wilson :)

    We’ll know soon enough. I can’t wait!

  3. It’ll be nice to get a tough opponent at home to start the season (we usually win home games) on a Thursday so “we’ll” get extra time to prepare for a, most likely, week two road game… I hope it’s SF or Denver that we play right off the bat!!!

Why would you want a weak opponent for the opener? I want a very strong opponent for it. I’m extremely confident for every home game. That first one I don’t see anyone standing a chance might as well thump a strong team. The atmosphere at the clink will be unlike any other home game IMO.
