  1. They’ve got me so wired for trading down now that if they don’t I’ll go “deer in the headlights” at pick #32.

  2. Don’t know if it really means any thing other than replacing depth that we lost with Maragos’ departure but wind carried word that Ryan Clark is taking a physical for the Seahawks.

Decent veteran presence and a nice little security blanket just in case, that is if it works out.

  3. Like the fact that they have 2 picks in the 5th round. They’ve hit big time a couple of times there with Kam and Sherm. And they got Willson, Williams and Simon in 2013. Willson had a good rookie year and Williams and Simon may turn out to be significant contributors.

  4. I can’t find anything about Ryan Clark & the Seahawks (or anyone else).

  5. I would trade pick #32 in the 1ST RD to the jets or Miami for picks #49&80 or picks #50&81 and select WR +OG +OT!

  6. What do you all think of a safety with the first or second pick? Somebody like Bucannon from Wazzu.

Thought being, competition is fairly thin there right now and you want the first/second pick to make the team. Practice squad and you loose them like Harper last year. A safety could at least play special teams like Maragos.

Granted, like so many others here, I would like to see a dominant OL.

  7. We’ve got two stud S so I don’t personally want a young S to go along with our other two young S. Of course, we had Lynch last year and they took a RB with their 1st pick so you never know.

I’m hoping the BPA when they draft happens to be an OT, DL, or WR. I’d really be nice if they could draft a right tackle with athletic ability who could slide over to play LT if Okung ever went down (which usually happens ever year). That’d be my personal favorite.

If tackle isn’t there “you can never have too many pass rushers” so I’d take an end or tackle on the defensive line and be happy. But if the best player happens to be a WR, that’s fine, too.

I really don’t care who they take anymore because I actually trust them (which has never happened with me and a FO before). Unless they do something stupid like draft a long snapper with that 1st round pick.

  8. Did the liver of GeorgiaHawk explode and we’ve seen the last of him? I’m used to shifting through 20-25 of his comments per day by now. I really can’t talk because I do that once in awhile and a few years ago I was “that guy” as well.

I was working today and someone said to me that “they are going to suck next year.” I didn’t say anything and smiled but thought some thoughts you’d all think of that comment as well and then it hit me… even if they do suck next year (which they won’t), it won’t change the FACT that we will have been able to have seen our favorite team WIN a Super Bowl in recent history. This is something even 49er fans and all their Cold War era Super Bowls can claim. It’s a good/fun feeling!

  9. I wouldn’t like to see a safety taken that high. Like most I’d like it to be the BPA from the WR, OL, or DL positions. You can never have enough good defensive lineman. The OL could use quality depth at the very LEAST.

  10. What’s the difference between a 20 year old Seahawks fan and a 20 year old 49ers fan? The Seahawks fan remembers a Super Bowl win by his/her favorite team as it happened.

Same applies for a 41 or 61 year old Seahawks fan over a 49ers fan who is barely of drinking age. lol

  11. Georgia has been MIA. Wonder what’s up?

  12. Well others have stepped up and taken over the posting role . . . .
