The Philadelphia Eagles released wide receiver DeSean Jackson today.

A story out of New Jersey says the Eagles were worried about Jackson’s alleged gang ties, among other things.

Seahawks sign CB Adams

The Seattle Seahawks signed cornerback Phillip Adams on Thursday.

Adams, 25, was in Seahawks training camp in 2012. He signed with Seattle on Dec. 20, 2011 after being released by the New England Patriots. He has played with four teams in his four seasons in the league. The San Francisco 49ers drafted Adams out of South Carolina State in the seventh round in 2010. Read more »
