MUST READ! Doug Baldwins game day diary

Excerpt: Him and Kam are sitting around prior to the game, the see the ESPN expert picks, only 1 out of 4 picking the hawks

“Kam and I look at each other, and without saying a word, we take our phones and capture that moment. The fire that was already intensely burning inside is now being stoked. I have to contain it. When I look at my brother Kam’s face, I see anger exuding from his pores. I’m sure he can see the same from mine”

DB has been neck and neck for my favorite player all year long.. this pushes him into the lead.

  4. There have been traffic jams in Seattle forever…but never one worse than the one I’m seeing on my iPad right now!

    Southendzone,

The best part is the team can keep DB with a simple RFA tender.

I don’t know if they will tender him at 1st or 2nd round (only 800K difference), but it gives the team the opportunity to match any offer sheets DB gets from other teams. Or worst case Seattle gets another 1st or 2nd round draft choice for a previosly undrafted rookie.

My bet is DB is going nowhere and he and the team will come to a long term deal.

  6. Given the occasional failures of Carrols early picks, it would be a nightmare to me to lose DB for a crappy second round pick. Im hoping they give him a first round tender and then work out a longterm deal. He’s worth it.

  7. Southendzone says:

Arguably DB is our MVWR right now and his loss would be the biggest among any of that group.

  8. Would love to be there!

  9. Does KIRO need to purchase HD cameras?

    Watching on TV. Very cool.

Marshawn Lynch is dancing on the front of the DUCK carrying SeaGals, and throwing Skittles to the crowd. He’s loving every second of this.

  11. Listening to 710 radio, and recording the NFLN broadcast. From down here in Eugene, OR I wish I could be there. For all the 12′s…this is our day!!

  12. Southendzone says:

Bottom of Richard’s website has a super awesome video of him right after the SB win walking around on crutches, doing interviews, celebrating with team mates. Highly recommend it to you all

On TV, they’re estimating a crowd 700,000. Twenty percent of the Boeing workforce is absent. The Seattle Mayor over turned the School Dist. Superintendent ruling and today is now an Excused absence from school. Don’t quote me but I think I heard 650 Seattle District teachers are “sick” today.

Sweet madness in Seattle, man that would be crazy fun to be there.
So many are commenting on future moves, the cap and cutting players.
COMMON MAN! Enjoy the week- SUPER BOWL CHAMPS.
Yes my mind has gone to the future but I don’t let it stay there. GET BACK TO THE PRESENT, because it is freaking cool! As Pete would say.
