Both clubs (MIN & CLE)in need of a franchise QB. Can’t blame a potential coach for not wanting to hitch his wagon to a team that can’t even win on paper.

It would buy the new coach a little grace period though, methinks.

  3. Great hire for Detroit.

  4. The Browns are a dead zone, who would want that one?

I would say it’s likely Seattle keeps its assistants. I don’t think the two remaining jobs are great situations. (Browns – a disaster, Vikings don’t have their home stadium for a couple years and have an aging roster.) If one were convinced the Vikings have a long-term outlook for their coach, then it has potential. Maybe Bevell would be comfortable with that given his past relationships.

But the Browns job is toxic. The best thing you can say for that job is that being fired by the Browns wouldn’t necessarily be a negative on your job history. No one with discernment is considering that gig.
