Quick post-practice notes

With a mock game scheduled for Saturday, the Hawks had a short workout without helmets, going for about an hour in what was basically a walk-through. So, there’s not much in the way of big plays to report. It was also a little difficult to identify the status of injured players as everyone was out there without helmets.

The big new (non-news) of the day was Marshawn Lynch showing up, about 15 minutes after the start of practice. Backs coach Sherman Smith said that not much will change upon his arrival, as he doesn’t take many reps during camp or

Unleash the Beast

Easy to target a focus for Friday at Seahawks camp. After all the drama of Marshawn Lynch’s holdout, we’ll see if he’s actually on the field and involved in practice. But it’s just a great thing to be out here and to be around them and them to share their experiences

Lynch return?

We just heard a huge cheer in the Seahawks auditorium adjacent to our press room. Could it be the return of Marshawn Lynch? And could it be coincidence that an armored Brinks truck pulled in at the front door?

Reports are circulating that he’s on his way back and will end his week-long holdout and be at practice tomorrow.

Quick post practice notes

Got a lot of stories to crank now, so I’ll just hit some high spots for now. Lots of players still injured or resting today. Carpenter, Bowie, Richardson, Marsh, Baldwin, Norwood, Harvin, Zach Miller, Michael Bennett, Wagner were off Thursday. To help with some depth at receiver, they signed Ronald Johnson, a third-year receiver out of USC. A spot was opened when Anthony McCoy was put on IR after his Achilles injury Tuesday. Nothing more specific on the Jesse Williams knee injury, but Carroll said it’s serious and possibly require surgery.

Numerous sources report that Marshawn Lynch will end his
