  1. Jaws latest qb rankings say he has dropped Russell Wilson even lower. This seems incorrect.

  2. raymaines says:

Less than 15 game minutes to go and I have absolutely NO intention of being sober at the end of the game. Go Hawks!!

  3. raymaines says:

Just under 2 minutes to go and I’m right on schedule.

  4. MoSeahawk12 says:

Nice blowout…….oh wait, we lost again in SF!

  5. MoSeahawk12 says:

Really cool how we had zero timeouts at the end of the game.

  6. who was the receiver Kearse? Even if he caught it he couldn’t have gotten outta bounds nor into the endzone. The team couldn’t have gotten ready for a FG in time, so the game wa over even if he didn’t fall down…

  7. chuck_easton says:

Expected this outcome. Seattle just has to win two out of the next three.

SF just needed this one more.

  8. Jeron Johnson, Max Unger, KJ Wright, who else got an injury?

  9. Gore went down on purpose, to make sure we didn’t have time to score(?)

  10. MEhawkfan says:

Clock management!!?? Taking those time-outs sure backfired. That strategy was obviously predicated on the necessity of the defense getting a stop on third down. I can’t believe they let Kapernick get that first!

  11. raymaines says:

Yes, I am drunk. Thank you for asking.

My Pigskin Picks are (is?) 12 / 1 with the Seattle loss being only game I lost.

I’m picking N.O. over Carolina and the Bears over the Cowgirls.

  12. Boyce–what have u ever contributed?! Many commenters are far more negative than I am, so please save some face and go away…

  13. tough game against a tough opponent in their house. we can sometimes go crazy on our home turf, and things like the NO game or last year’s SF game can happen. on the road, beating a quality team is always very hard work. period.

And that’s where we were today – we played tough (it’s silly to think our offense is going to go off against a defense like SF has) – and were right there, ahead, with 6 minutes to go in the fourth. up to that point, the Niners had 250 yards of total offense, so our D had been playing better than good. but one play can sometimes change everything, and today that’s what happened.

Niners did need it more, and they came out w/intensity from the opening. I would have liked 12-1, and it would have established total dominance between the teams for now, but even so, this loss doesn’t kill me.

  14. Dukeshire says:

    No post game thread…?

Anyway, by my count, 3 false starts, running into the returner, and poor use of timeouts: that’s equals a very undisciplined effort. Moreover, For those who don’t feel BB and Thurmond being out aren’t an issue, Maxwell’s play disagrees with you. He was a liability, despite the pick, this afternoon. I’d prefer to see Lane at RCB.

  15. Skavage says:

I’m pretty sure 99.99% of the folks on the blog here would’ve GLADLY said they’d be happy with an 11 and 2 record after 13 games. I’m disappointed we lost but let’s not forget this is the NFL and the 49ers are one of the best teams. No shame losing to them in their house by 2 points.

And considering how their offense played and our defense played, I’m pretty happy we only gave up 19 points. Lots to improve on and take away from this one. Get the truth out on Tuesday and let’s move on to the Giants next week.

  16. I don’t really get the terrible coaching comments? What issues did you have specifically? Niners D is good, it ain’t easy moving the ball on them, for us or anyone else in the league.

Yes, penalties were a killer, but that’s not coaching. No coach is telling his players to do that.

  17. MoSeahawk12 says:

    Rage monster much??

  18. Pdway–Lynch was money, but we barely used him. On third and short, as usual we threw the ball, and it failed. We had check down receivers open, but RW consistently held the ball too long, trying for big gains. All that failed.

SF, despite being the inferior team with an inferior qb, took what was given, and stole a win.

I’m more upset with Dybas handling of the live chats since he took over than with the loss. He’s becoming Frank Hughes…

  19. Autocorrect sucks…”save some face” isn’t close to what I typed…

  20. MoSeahawk12 says:

ET has made a ton more plays than he’s missed. Without Earl, this team is 10-6 at best. I’m sure you’re 1000% great at your job every day, every time. Be realistic dude. Please provide video of your job success.

  21. I can’t make any point at all if my replies to being called out never are posted, that’s why I’m pissed.

This isn’t a forum for only happy posts and the rulers don’t say we all must agree; disagreement is what makes a blog work…but when certain commenters are allowed to push or break rules, and their victims ate sensed a voice, a blog fails and eventually dies…

  22. MoSeahawk12 says:

Yes, please call out the guy running the free blog. Super smart and great way to express your opinion.

  23. …victims are denied a voice..

  24. Right, so free blogs can ignore their own rules and no one should ever question… You’d make a great nazi Mo…IMO…what about fairness, or at least free Speach?!

  25. boycie99 says:

Hear hear STTBM, Now my posts are deleted

  26. MoSeahawk12 says:

11-2 and still in first place. Not the end of the world. Very disappointing certainly. Not worst making a fool of oneself.

  27. MoSeahawk12 says:

It’s a football blog dudes. Right down all your thoughts and publish a best selling book.

  28. MoSeahawk12 says:

Classy calling another regular a nazi. You just entered dick zone and are not worth my time.

  29. Mo u are out of your mind; Seattles record has NOTHING to do with censorship, which is what I’m upset about.
