Pete Carroll dropped a surprise in Wednesday’s press conference, saying the cornerback Brandon Browner has a chance to practice today.
Carroll said Browner had a “significant groin tear” when he was injured at Atlanta om Nov. 10.
Browner will be managed day-to-day by the Seahawks as they see how his groin responds. They thought he was going to be out for a full six weeks, but Carroll said he has recovered rapidly.
As far Browner’s dealings with the league, Carroll said he didn’t know a timeline for resolution. Obviously, Browner is in the appeal process, which would allow him to practice and possibly play, when he is healthy enough.
