Seahawks will collect typhoon relief donations Sunday

RENTON, Wash. - The Seahawks announced today the American Red Cross will have volunteers at all gates on Sunday for the Seahawks game collecting cash donations to aid in the disaster relief from the recent typhoon in the Pacific. The Paul G. Allen Family Foundation will match all donations collected from Seahawks fans.

Fans are also invited to donate online through the American Red Cross’ disaster relief fund at the following link: http://www.redcross.org/cm/seahawks-pub

Since its initial landfall on Friday, November 8 in Eastern Samar, Philippines, more than 600,000 people have been displaced, and more than 1,400 evacuation centers have been opened. The Philippine Red Cross is reporting at least 1,200 deaths, with the number likely to increase as previously inaccessible areas are reached.

The American National Red Cross is registered as a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.
Contributions to the American National Red Cross are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. The American National Red Cross’ tax identification number is 53-0196605.
