Good morning.

We’ll start today with Seahawks stuff from the Sunday TNT:

> Here’s my story on the Seahawks at the midway point.

> A midseason report card (at the bottom).

> Dave Boling looks ahead to the second half of the season.

> In case you missed it yesterday, here’s a look at the seven sacks the Seahawks allowed last Monday against the Rams.

> Don’t forget we’ll be chatting before and during the game.

To the primer:

The Texans get two shots at the division-leading Colts in the second half of the season. In the first, they don’t know if RB Arian Foster will play.

Seattle Week 8 highlights

Over to for the Monday highlights.

Flashback video of the day

Cinderella story …

Today in bacon

Bacon-wrapped pork medallion. If this was any better, it would be pork-on-pork crime.

Recipe of the day

Kobe beef sliders. For the win.

Now, that’s funny (at least to me)
No chalk talk video this week (way to go, Brock), so we’ll double up on videos here.

First, Marshawn Lynch, who has been in the news a lot this week, back when he talked to reporters:

Second, in case you are suffering from Real Rob Report Withdrawal (RRRW), here’s the Best of Moffit. Somehow, this is almost a 20-minute long video.

Poll position

Do you think Marshawn Lynch will actually retire this offseason?

  1. Macabrevity says:

    Lovin that ’83 video…

Guys, as far as the OL is concerned, isn’t there a legal formation of some kind that has a center snapping the ball, then the rest of the blockers are shifted over toward the sideline? Since our O-line operates on the “half Mississippi principle” letting guys through at about the half-second mark, why even line them up?

  2. Charley Pops is funny as F&^%.

  3. Moffitt was great on the RRR. If only he could’ve been that good on Sundays.

  4. 1983 video is great, I still miss the AFC west.

  5. bird_spit says:

bacon wrapped whatever in awesome on the’s never wrong.

  6. GeorgiaHawk says:

Your mid season report card is spot on imo Todd.

What grade would you give the 12th man? And any word that we are going to try and get that record back from KC this year?

  7. If only we had the 83 o-line…

  8. thursday says:

    i’d like the ’05 o-line

  9. montanamike2 says:

I’d take either one over the kiddies.

  10. Skavage says:

Seahawks fans will break the sound record in San Fran this year. :)

  11. Time to put the Rams game in the rearview mirror and crank out an easy win today.

  12. montanamike2 says:

I know a big win would go a long ways for our second half push.

  13. I just want our offense to do something today, please.

  14. Jeff Tuel is playing prety good today…

  15. montanamike2 says:

I gotta go, talk to you later.
    GO HAWKS!!!

  16. Tuel was doing ok, until that pick six. Ouch.
