  3. Southendzone says:

Seahawks, please never play a game like that again. I think I’m near death right now.

  4. raymaines says:

Well that just sucked! Can we please draft a few good linemen next April?

  5. MoSeahawk12 says:

Embarrassed to be a Seahawks fan right now. That was flashback to the 1992 season. Tom Flores calling he plays? Lets not worry about Bevel getting a head coaching job in our lifetime. Cable your guys are the worst!!

  6. when is the trade deadline? We HAVE to pick up another tackle or Russell will end up in a bodycast!

  7. MEhawkfan says:

Anyone on this blog play O-line… ? Hawks should be looking for some O-line types with a pulse.

  8. Southendzone says:

That was so brutal, if anyone posts “There’s no such thing as an ugly win”, they need to banned from every football related activity for a year.

  9. raymaines says:

    and yet…..

They beat a division foe on the road and are 7-1 and in first place by a full game. Go ‘Hawks!!

  10. 7-1!

A win is a win but I don’t think the OL will still be good enough even when Lounge comes back.

I’m happy with the win though. No shame in any division road win.

  11. I’d rather win a Super Bowl that way than lose one like thatin sect fasiom.

  12. Stupid auto correct

  13. freedom_X says:

That was as close to a loss as a win can be. There’s no shame in any win, but Seattle is not the dominant team in the NFL, or even the NFC. No team with an O-line that plays like that can make that claim, ever.

  14. PC/JS put together teams that won 7 games in each of ’10 and ’11. They’ve won 7 games in just a half of this ’13 season. That said, this team needs better performance from an OL that was really tested tonite.

  15. sluggo42 says:

    Fire Cable
That was horrid line play, all year. They flat suck

  16. Wanted: Somewhat serviceable offensive lineman. Will trade straight up for on under-performing, overpaid, oft-injured #1 receiver. Please contact John Schneider at 1-800-SEAHAWK.

  17. sluggo42 says:

    And bench tate

  18. sluggo42 says:

    How are we 7-1 ?

  19. A win is a win, BABY!

As much crap as the OGs get, the OTs were just plain awful tonight. They are backups going against 2 of the best DEs in the game though. I thought that Carp was the only o-lineman that didn’t look bad, though I doubt I get much agreement there. Pretty sad that they couldn’t figure something out.

I’m not big on complaining about the coordinators, but Bevell and Cable were plain awful tonight. You can’t chip on the DEs? You can’t move the pocket? Figure something out for effing sake. Throw some more screens.

Waiting for news on Rice. If it’s a significant injury then I believe that signals the end of Rice in Seattle. I’m more and more convinced he’s gone if he doesn’t take a MAJOR pay cut. You can’t lose Tate to keep Rice IMO.

  20. DanielleMND says:

That was ugly. Our offensive line is ugly. We need Okung and Giacomini back stat, then we need to fire Cable after the season, and Schneider needs to draft or sign some players who look like they belong in the NFL.

That said, we’re 7-1, even though our O stank and our D gave up 200 yards on the ground.

  21. Kenny Via says:

Crazy game. I just posted a reaction thread.
Dybas’ game story will be up soon, and I will keep adding to the photo gallery throughout the night: http://www.thenewstribune.com/2013/10/28/2860942/seahawks-vs-rams.html

  22. freedom_X says:

If Seattle had benched Tate, we’d be 6-2 right now.

There seemed to be some recognition problems. On the play where Wilson nearly got taken down for a safety, Marshawn Lynch had the protection and seemed to hesitate. Two guys were coming, he picked one, but the guy he picked peeled off to cover in the flat and the other guy came in for the kill. Plenty of blame to go around.

  23. Kenny Via says:

That’s the link to the gallery, by the way. Reaction thread here: http://blog.thenewstribune.com/seahawks/2013/10/28/seahawks-14-rams-9-post-game-reaction/

  24. Bench Tate?

I hope you’re joking or really hitting the sauce tonight. 5 catches, 93 yards and 2 TDs. This team loses without Tate. Give me an effing break.

They need Okung and Breno back badly. Then then need McQ at RG. Hopefully that is decent enough to win a SB with. Line must be addressed this off-season. I’ll hold off comment on Cable’s future.

BTW, on a positive note, ET is the best player on this defense. No doubt in my mind anymore. He was a beast tonight.

  25. sluggo42 says:

Tate’s showboating, all about me is guns cost us when we can’t recover from it, he needs to learn its unacceptable horsecrap
