Chris Clemons, who never talks to the media, did a little news-breaking tonight on Twitter.

  1. I wonder when the official news release comes out

  2. Dukeshire says:

I’m happy for Mike Rob. Welcome back!

  3. sluggo42 says:

Great news, I think this was predicted by a few posters. He was sick, got better and back in shape. We got him back. Ya…
He is perhaps the one guy I’m really happy for, he bleeds lime green, and he gave his all to get us here…

    Yay

  4. I’m happy for him too. I hope he can be the contributor he has been in seasons past, but even more I hope this provides an emotional spark for the squad.

  5. Still wondering whose season is now done. I think it’s gotta be ware or Coleman to the IR

  6. Wild guess would be Ware… he hasn’t really contributed much and is more ball carrier than FB. C Michael has to be coming along and could carry the rock if called upon. Can he pick up the blitz?…..

  7. +1 Ware to IR. Just a guess.

  8. vichawkfan says:

Now poised to create a huge 2nd half run. Don’t underestimate the emotional lift MRob creates. I will never forget the coin toss scuffle with D’Hall in Seattle last year….tight lipped on why it happened but apparently MRob was offended ( and rightfully so) with the language Hall and Trent Williams were using at the toss. There was a local 12-13 year old girl present as an honorary coin toss ambassador there. MRob told them to show some respect…..melee ensued. Much much respect..

    Welcome home !!!!

  9. SandpointHawk says:

    Welcome back Captain Mike…

  10. DisplacedSeahawkFan says:

Having MRob is a big boost. More I formations instead of all this 1 RB shotgun crap. I’m so glad he’s back!

  11. seatowntp says:

It has been suggested that Mike Rob is an uplifting and unifying locker room presence. I question that. I wonder how Beast feels now that the Real Rob Report will be hunting down all over the Seahawks facility?

Welcome back Mike Rob! Give beast hell!

  12. MikeFromNewJersey says:

RealRob Report! RealRob Report! RealRob Report!

Very happy to hear about this! This guy just does so many good things.

  13. montanamike2 says:

I stated yesterday that the chemistry he brings might be something of a glue or gel, going for it more on 4th and 1. Good move for a second half run, Lynch was upset that we let him go. Ware must have some potential because we kept him and let Bradford go, i would have done the opposite based on what i saw. Perhaps he’s in our long range plans or we didn’t want anyone to snag him. Lockette is back on the PS and now so is Mike Rob who deserves a ring with this team. I’m looking forward to what Harvin brings, and a weekly improvement by Irvin at his new spot. I can’t wait until we have something of an O-line.

  14. edstang45 says:

Good news..if for no other reason but to give Rob a real chance at a ring..he deserves it he’s a big deal on this team, still the captain…

  15. seahawkfan97 says:

If Farwell gives up his special teams captain to Mrob then there will be no doubt about “It has been suggested that Mike Rob is an uplifting and unifying locker room presence. I question that.”

  16. Lockette is on our ps?! When did this happen?!

  17. The delay in an official announcement is probably due to an associated roster move needed. I thought it was Coleman who had an injury?
As long as we get everyone (including our OT’s) back in time for SF, we can manage.

  18. montanamike2 says:

Last night STTBM. Both the Vikings and the Giants looked absolutely terrible on MNF, when the Vikings come to town in less than a month it’s going to be real ugly, the Giants aren’t scary even at home.

  19. princeaden says:

Who says Clem has no class ? The stars have finally aligned :)

  20. ChrisHolmes says:

@jbltzfk Both our FB’s are hurt. Coleman has been dealing with a sprained foot since week 2. Ware has a hamstring.

Considering the duration a hamstring injury can linger, and the fact that Coleman was hurt earlier and should be done recovering sooner, I expect Ware to go to IR.

  22. jawpeace says:

Holmes, I believe you got a little mixed up. Ware was the one hurt early in the season with his ankle. Coleman has been playing all season and hurt his hamstring on the pass he caught against Arizona on Thursday.

  23. raymaines says:

I love how defensive players are all happy that MikeRob is coming back. That’s a real good locker room kind of thing.

I didn’t think fan optimism could get any higher. I was wrong. Go ‘Hawks!

I mean, seriously, how weird is it that your starting fullback can get hurt, you sign a guy off of the streets and the fan base goes crazy in a good way?

Right now the Seahawks are 10.5 overdogs. I’ll put money on the ‘Hawks and give the points
