PETE following brief workout at chilly (53) VMAC

How’d week of preparation go? It went really quickly. You have to cram a lot in in a short time…. we tried to get a game plan in there … you just have to do it a lot faster.

They’re a difficult team that causes problems and need some days to get this thing ironed out, so we’ll try to do a good job of it.

CLEM: is questionable. he practiced a little today and “he definitely has a chance.”

Zach Miller is back. Wagner will not make it.

We’ve had enough continuity here, we’re as good as anybody at getting back in a short-week preparation.

Marshawn Lynch (hip) is fine. Resting is part of his “recycle process” for him.

Arizona. They had suffered through a difficult year last year … they’re on track, they’re fired up, they have high hopes and expectations. These games in the division are really crucial. You can feel it’s a whole different climate down there

Breno? He’s turned the corner, he’s moving around well. They had to remove some fluid from his knee that made a big difference.

For all the hand wringers out there keep in mind the Hawks have faced 5 of the top 11 defenses out there. The one that wasn’t they hung 45 on them.

scorpeeo,, yup yup. completely agree!! :)

  3. Its great to have Miller back.

I am not overly concerned about Wagner being out another week….. I actually like KJ better at MLB than at OLB and we have good enough depth with Smith and Irvin to play OLB.

I hope Clem isn’t rushed back too early.

Wow, everyone is picking us except Ditka. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.

But everyone is picking 49ers. I’m sooo tempted to pick against them but I shouldn’t,,,only because Jake isn’t back yet… screw it, I’m pick the Titans to win at home! :)

  5. Southendzone says:

Another gutsy pick Yank! After seeing TEN last week I’d be super shocked if they can beat SF, at home, on the road, or anywhere.

I didn’t learn anything from Sunday’s game, but it confirmed what I was pretty sure of, Fitzpatrick is not a quality NFL QB and that’s the one thing you need to even get in the door if you expect to beat a good team.

    SF will win going away.

  6. TD – isn’t B.Wagner’s injury a high ankle sprain? Do they expect him back after the bye?

  7. yankinta says:

Southendzone,, lol, yeah I almost regretted it as soon as I said it. smh but I guess I will just have to stick with it at this point and hope Fitzpatrick doesn’t turn it over. But I’m pretty sure it will not be a blow out. :)
