Marshawn Lynch once again had an intentional wardrobe malfunction.

According to Pro Football Talk, Lynch was fined $5,250 for wearing green shoes last Sunday versus the Texans.

NFL rules say that each player on the team has to wear the same color shoes.

Lynch was reportedly fined $10,000 in 2011 for his Skittle shoes, so, he knows a fine is coming if he steps out. Apparently, he doesn’t care.

Haha, skittles probably told him they’ll pay his fines

  2. raymaines says:

What if Skittles did pay the fine?

Would that count against the salary cap? Would it have to be cash stuffed in a new pair of socks that the Beast founding his locker, ala OK state?

  3. sluggo42 says:

Probably a little more sophisticated then that, but, yah…

It’s been about a year now that my mom passed, so I just want to apologize to some folks here for being an ass at times.

Dukeshire is at the top of the list, followed by STTBM, then BobbyK, xcman, Sandpoint, Nate, and Chuck. I’m sure there is more so anyways I’m sorry folks.

    Go Hawks!!!

  5. bobk3333 says:

I, for one, like those shoes.

If they fit better, are more comfortable, make him run better and are more likely than the standard issues to prevent injuries, he should be allowed to wear them. There are a lot of things about shoes more important than color.

  6. averagejay says:

Our thoughts are with you GeorgiaHawk. Condolences.

  7. averagejay says:

NFL needs to get on board with the green shoes. Those are sweet!

  8. Love the wolf grey uni’s but they need that zip of green.

UW defense doing good in Stanford. They’ve only allowed a FG so far. STs allowed a Stanford return for a TD.

    SEA’s D needs to cover Indy’s TEs.

Classy move GeorgiaHawk, i’d rather have a bunch of friends that i can agree or disagree without it degenerating to a PI forum. I wish some of the other posters could hold out an olive branch instead of digging in their heels, or resort to being condescending.

  10. You never get over the loss of a Mom, Georgia, but days do get better (still hard to believe that I’m, at 40, older than mine was when she passed).

    Go Hawks!!!

  11. Georgia – been about 15 months for me and Bobby’s right, you don’t get over it. Worst year ever, but thank goodness we have a pleasant distraction with our Hawks. And thanks for this blog too. I’d take a Seahawk fan over a rotten 9r fan any day of the week. There’s just no reasoning with them. They can’t enjoy the fact that both our teams are pretty good.

  12. doubledink says:

Georgia, reminds me of how blessed I am to still have both of my folks. He is 91 & she is 83, married 64 years. Not a bad run.

  13. Georgia – I’m relatively new here to contributing to the blog, but I’m a long time reader. I have always enjoyed your posts regardless of your occasional criticism. You’re obviously a passionate Hawk fan which binds almost all of us. Thanks for all your contributions and I’m sorry for your loss.

  14. Hey doubledink – mine have been married 64 years as well! Truly a blessing – both are 85 and still getting around just fine. Unfortunately my first marriage ended after 22 years but I was fortunate to find someone great and am getting married again day after Thanksgiving in Maui. My Dad will be my best man and for the first time I am wearing a wedding ring – he gave me his as he doesn’t wear it (he still does a lot of woodworking so it’s a safety hazard). Hopefully it will bring me good luck and a marriage as happy and fulfilling as theirs.

  15. doubledink says:

    Best wishes LV.

  16. seahawkfan97 says:

so sorry to you guys who have lost moms…mine is sick and is failing as well…..congrats on the wedding as well LV…going salmon fishing this morning for a couple hours as I cannot seem to be happy with just recording the game..Someone on the river will undoubtedly yell out the score….I wish this was a late game as the salmon are about done down here..(kings, Coho are coming)
    go hawks!!

  17. montanamike2 says:

Regular early morning wake up on game day. I’m both nervous and hopeful.
I hope we win for us and to keep us troll free for a little longer.

  19. Ewalters7354 says:

Sorry Georgia.I lost my dad 2years ago his bday is in a few days so I def understand the feel. You’re in my prayers man.

  20. Dukeshire says:

Georgia – hang in there man. As you know, I lost my dad several years ago, and now recently, struggling my mom’s own illness. We can always loose ourselves in the Hawks, though. Cheers

  21. SandpointHawk says:

Georgia, Lost my mom 10 years ago this week and my Dad is a knocking as we speak…It’s hard but we pull through…Blessings…

  22. raymaines says:

bobk3333 and averagejay, You know what “NFL” stands for don’t you?

The color of Lynches shoes didn’t earn the fine. It’s that his shoes were different than everybody else’s. If they all wore green shoes, it would have been OK.

  23. raymaines says:

I see that ML is wearing Green shoes again this week. I love that man.

  24. SandpointHawk says:

But Marshawn also has pink shoe laces this week for breast awareness month. Myself, I never needed to wear pink to be aware of breasts…
