As we talked about earlier in the day, Russell Okung is officially out Sunday because of a toe injury.

RB Spencer Ware (ankle), G JR Sweezy (Back), LB Malcolm Smith  (Hamstring), DT Jordan Hill (biceps) and S Jeron Johnson (hamstring) did not participate in practice.

Smith and Sweezy were not mentioned or asked about in pre-practice availability with Pete Carroll.

T Breno Giacomini (knee) and CB Brandon Browner (hamstring) were limited in practice.

The good news for the Seahawks: DE  Chris Clemons was a full participant.

Great news with regards to Clemons.

  2. I hope Sweezy stays out. Watch Ray McDonald push him 10 yards into the backfield at 7:40 of the 1st quarter. Pathetic.

  3. Yup – great news about Clem. It will be interesting to see how they rotate Clem / Avril / Schofield, Red and Bennett. 5 quality guys for 2 spots.

  4. Its not good if Breno can’t go – McQuistan can’t play LT and RT at the same time.

  5. Condolences to Ken Norton on the passing of his father.

I guess Mike Iupati is pathetic as well, eh? Sweezy played a pretty good game if you bothered to watch more than one play.

Lol, ya Red planted him on his ass that play…

  8. bb….. you are comparing Iupati and Sweezy?

My condemnation of Sweezy isn’t based on one play, but on his body of work. There are many times when everyone on this blog has groaned because of a Sweezy play.

Mike Iupati is a 2012 All pro and pro bowler – his body of work is pretty impressive. The Bryant / Iupati play was (I expect) a rarity for Iupati.

Moffit is a free agent I believe. Perhaps moffit ver2 is on the way?

  10. blocis, my point was that one bad play doesn’t make a player be it Iupati or Sweezy. My other point was that Sweezy actually played a pretty good game versus the Whiners. I was hardly the only one to point that out. Don’t ignore that simply because you have a bias towards Sweezy.

I’ve said that I think we’ll be better overall with Carp at LG and McQ at RG, but that’s not an option with Okung out.
