Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll joined Danny O’Neil of 710 ESPN Seattle to talk about the health of his team heading into Sunday’s game at Carolina.
Carroll said that cornerback Brandon Browner will be questionable with a hamstring injury. However, starting defensive tackles Brandon Mebane (groin) and Tony McDaniel (groin) are expected to play.
Carroll also said that defensive end Chris Clemons and Cliff Avril are on the verge of getting back. Avril was a full participant in practice on Thursday, returning from a lingering hamstring issue.
And Clemons continues to look strong returning from ACL knee surgery in January, although he was listed as having not practiced on Thursday. Clemons participated in some early work at the beginning of practice both days this week.
