Receiver Chris Harper, the Seahawks fourth round selection in this year’s draft, talked about his new role with San Francisco after the team signed the Kansas State product off of Seattle’s practice squad.
Harper said he’ll have to learn how to get into a 3-point stance for the first time, as the 49ers plan on using him as an H-back, similar to the way San Francisco used former tight end Delanie Walker.
“They put him all over the field,” Harper told reporters down in San Francisco. “And he’s a great athlete. You can see that on film. … He’s a big guy that can run.”
