15 players out for Hawks, including Cliff Avril

The Seattle Seahawks have 15 players expected not to play today here at Lambeau Field.

They include receiver Sidney Rice, receiver Percy Harvin, receiver Bryan Walters, fullback Michael Robinson, cornerback Tharold Simon, cornerback Ron Parker, defensive end Cliff Avril, defensive end Ty Powell, linebacker Korey Toomer, offensive lineman James Carpenter, tight end Zach Miller, defensive end Jesse Williams, defensive end Chris Clemons, defensive tackle Jordan Hill and defensive lineman Greg Scruggs.

The good news for the Seahawks is linebacker Bruce Irvin (groin) is expected to play for the first time during preseason play. And running back Christine Michael (back spasms) also will play tonight.

Spencer Ware will start for Robinson at fullback. Doug Baldwin will start for Rice at flanker. And O’Brien Schofield will start at Leo defensive end.
