Time for the rookies to shine.

  2. For a position that seemed very thin at times this offseason, LB has now become impressively stocked and the competition will be fierce for roster spots. The only true locks seem to be Wagner & KJ. If O’Scho continues to impress the staff he may lock down the starting SAM spot and that would put Smith’s roster spot into a gray area when Irvin returns if his position shift is to be believed. It seems that Bradford is going to make it as the backup Mike. Will Lotu win out as backup will? Based on hair alone he has a decent shot. Interesting times.

Injuries & overall position numbers will help sort this out further but it’s another testament to the opportunistic nature of our FO to draw talent out of cracks, crevices & dumpsters.

I was looking through some Denver comments and thought this one was funny:

“NFL needs to looks at Seahawks, they were on a ‘roid rage
Always trying to hurt the other [team].

    But on the other hand…..

“I still can’t get over Adams jumping over the dude in order to not touch him down.
He’s a freaking Safety! He should have drilled the dude instead of purposely avoiding contact. I couldn’t believe my own eyes! I bet John Lynch up in the booth was thinking “man, Adams is gonna put the hurt on him” right before spitting out his water when Adams avoids contact. Maybe he’s still thinking its camp and the he doesn’t want to hit people, cause that’s the only answer that makes sense.

  6. Well Ray – you can’t say they are soft or a Finese team any more!
