    Good stuff, thanks Eric.

  2. That was interesting and positive to hear that both Bailey and Bowie got some work at Left Guard. Hell why not? Personally I no care if someone was drafted in the 1st round, 7th round or an UDFA. I just hope we can get two studs in there that kick some ass at the G spot. ;)

  3. agreed – and again – lets just find 5 guys they can decide on and that will play well starting week 1 – doesn’t have to be perfect but well!

Tilt the camera down…please. Little too much headroom in the video. Otherwise, thank you for provided us with interesting content and up to the minute updates. We’re lucky to have you.

  5. Bailey could be the next diamond in the rough. Its better to have studs from later rounds and free agency. Just give Bailey number 77 and say he was drafted early.

  6. Benson Mayowa sounds like an intriguing player, but he got only three sacks during his senior year. Perhaps he didn’t have the right coaching or the scheme wasn’t right for him. After all, Chris Clemons didn’t turn into such a stud until he got to Seattle (though he did have an eight-sack season with Oakland).

  7. Scheme has a lot to do with how many players fit. It is why some players change and struggle and others change and thrive.

I think 4 of the 5 starting o-lineman are pretty much set. I think McQ is in there at LG with Carp hurt. They’ll give Carp the opportunity to win the starting LG spot during the regular season. The only question is RG to me. Can Sweezy learn quickly enough to make his superior athletic attributes hold up over Moffitt’s technical proficiency.

I always appreciate input from Rang, but what’s the deal with the weird face tan? Has he been wearing a beanie while coaching during the summer? His face is very dark, but he has white stripes along each side of his forehead extending down to his sideburns. Am I the only one that noticed?

The Browns looked good last night even though half their team got carted off the field. I hope that doesn’t happen to us.

    Nate,

    Classic golf visor tan!

  12. chuck_easton says:

The risk of injury is why the fourth pre-season game (home unfortunately) will feature no starters and will simply be the last hurrah and thank you for participating game for many of the guys that will see their name on the cut list posted the next day.

  13. bbnate420 says:

Thanks for the input, Chuck. I was actually going to ask about a visor tan. I usually don’t have much of one, period. I would think he went somewhere near the equator. Washington weather isn’t quite that hot by itself.

bbnate420, “I would think he went somewhere near the equator. Washington weather isn’t quite that hot by itself.”

We just had the most dry July in recorded history, if I remember correctly, with no rain. Most days have been over 80 degrees for the high. It’s absolutely been sunny enough to get a serious tan or weird tan lines especially if you golf every day or do something else that involves five hours of full exposure…

Notice when Rang moves his head, what appears to be white strips looks more like a bright reflection from the sky.

    “Stripes”
