Greetings from the lovely – but archaic – Qualcomm Stadium. Game time conditions are perfect – 66 degrees with a little bit of a breeze and not a cloud in the sky.

The Seahawks announced that 18 players will not see the field today. They include Percy Harvin, Sidney Rice, Bryan Walters, Robert Turbin, Tharold Simon, Ron Parker, Bruce Irvin, Bobby Wagner, Cliff Avril, Korey Toomer, Max Unger, Mike Person, James Carpenter, Zach Miller, Darren Fells, Chris Clemons, Greg Scruggs and Tony McDaniel.

With Harvin out, Doug Baldwin or Jermaine Kearse likely will start at flanker. With McDaniel out, Jesse Willams likely will start at defensive tackle. Mike Morgan will start in place of Clemons at defensive end. Allen Bradford will start at middle linebacker in place of Bobby Wagner. And Luke Willson will start in place of Zach Miller.

Here we go! Alright young guns…time to show what you can do. Play hard and stay healthy. The 12th Man are behind you all the way!

Anyone looking to stream the game, here is a 10% off code for preseason live where you can watch all preseason games live or on demand:

Just saw a really cool Russell Wilson Preseason football commercial. Talking about how he was too short, would be a backup and then it said something like, not to the people that were able to watch him in preseason last year. He was in color and the rest of the footage was in black and white. Go Hawks!!

Actually found out the game is blacked out for live streaming with the link above since it is on NFL Network. NFL Network doesn’t start playing it until 8:00 though. Kinda lame.

I know it’s only the first preseason game, but did TJack and Stephan Williams practically make this team tonight?

  6. bbnate420 says:

Gotta remember who TJack played against, but he threw 2 absolutely beautiful deep balls. The first one was perfect. Looked to be going through his progressions better as well.

  7. No picks, no fumbles, no injuries(?), no SEA RBs arm-tackled, no sacks, no hit-as-thrown, some QB hurries (kinda).
